Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Load/unload cargo with precision and proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Familiarity with Washington Dc metro routes and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Emergency vehicle operation certification preferred
