Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver cargo to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (EOBR) and stay within all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the required endorsements.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling and securing procedures.
