Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes across Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Maintain accurate trip records and mileage reports
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Ohio highway systems and regional regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
