Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to transport goods across Southern California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while ensuring cargo security
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Assist with loading/unloading when required and verify shipment documentation
- Respond proactively to route changes and traffic conditions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Knowledge of California highway systems and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Valid TWIC card preferred
