Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across California routes
- Inspect vehicles for compliance with DOT regulations pre/post-trip
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (California)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of California highway systems
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
- Basic math and navigation skills
