Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with precision and ensure secure handling of materials
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery delays
- Document trip details, mileage, and delivery confirmations accurately
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of local and long-haul transportation regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
