Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within San Antonio and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage delivery routes effectively to meet tight schedules
- Report incidents or maintenance issues promptly to dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio area and Texas roadways
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
