Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on overnight routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across the Southwest region
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and receiving facilities
- Handle cargo loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- No DUI/DWI or major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat materials handling preferred
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong navigation abilities and route optimization knowledge
