Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes across NC and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Ensure timely deliveries while prioritizing safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and electronic logging
- Strong navigation skills with GPS/ELD proficiency
