Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated destinations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs in compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and potential issues
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and regulations
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 50 lbs
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
