Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) to deliver goods on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery statuses.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Class A or Class B).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
