Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional weekend routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Deliver freight on time to multiple locations in the Southeast
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat regulations (preferred but not required)
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Sat/Sun shifts)
