Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for weekend deliveries across the Northeast corridor
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and load management
- Ensure secure handling of specialized freight and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Knowledge of NYC traffic regulations and delivery zone restrictions
