Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- Document trip details and maintain accurate logs per regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Support loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficiency in using GPS and electronic logging devices
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and traffic regulations
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
