Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) following DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient routes across Georgia and neighboring states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with proper documentation
- Uphold strict safety protocols and company service standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and regional geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Fri-Sun) with occasional overnight trips
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Preferred: Hazmat endorsement and temperature-controlled freight experience
