Job Summary
As a CDL Driver on our weekend team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods across Texas and surrounding regions. You will play a crucial role in keeping our supply chain moving during peak weekend demand.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Texas required).
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedules (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
