Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or goods to customers within designated Louisville routes
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance of delivery vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and digital scanning systems
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and organize inventory in delivery vehicles
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Louisville streets and surrounding Kentucky areas
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and basic navigation technology
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
