Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and accurate log documentation
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold professional conduct at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of regional routes and weather-related driving precautions
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible weekend schedules
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
