Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Northern California
- Perform meticulous pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for on-time route optimization and customer satisfaction
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Execute secure loading/unloading protocols with warehouse teams
- Adhere to strict safety standards and emergency response procedures
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Hazmat/Tank endorsements preferred but not required
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of California highway regulations and terrain
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
