Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver time-sensitive freight within designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology to meet tight delivery windows
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
