Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries and transports
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents or vehicle maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) and flexible schedule readiness
