Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous driving logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip for safety compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay area and Florida highways
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early starts and occasional weekends
