Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Inspect and maintain vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure roadworthiness
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Utilize GPS navigation and logistics software for route optimization
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (preferred)
- Strong navigation skills and route knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Must be at least 21 years old
