Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a satisfactory background check.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and random drug testing.
