Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and legally compliant manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred but not required).
- Achieved a passing score on the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks during loading/unloading.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements.
