Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and maintain accurate logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery scheduling
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete mandatory safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class A or B)
- No prior driving experience required (fresh CDL holders welcome)
- Clean MVR record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for e-log systems
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
