Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of all materials.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Navigate delivery routes effectively to meet strict deadlines and schedules.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must be willing to enroll in our paid training program to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must be obtained within training period).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during loading/unloading.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for documentation purposes.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
