Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment usage
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Adapt routes based on traffic, weather, and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time communication and updates
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A/B/C) or willingness to obtain CDL through our training program
- No commercial driving experience required - we train from the ground up!
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load documentation and delivery verification
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
