Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across designated Texas and California routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS technology for route optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations (last 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with electronic devices
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- No prior commercial driving experience required (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
