Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Manage delivery documentation and paperwork
- Respond professionally to unexpected route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A or B CDL preferred but not required)
- No prior experience necessary - we provide paid CDL training
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and load calculations
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to climb into/out of truck and handle cargo
