Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul and local routes during night shifts
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision and verify shipment accuracy
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding transit updates
- Minimize downtime through efficient route planning and proactive troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Arizona roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate freight handling equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
