Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (semi-trucks) during overnight hours
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using proper equipment
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area and surrounding regions
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
