Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for cross-country freight transport
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle time-sensitive night shift deliveries efficiently
- Support team goals through collaborative logistics coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of HOS regulations
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Flexibility for variable night shift schedules
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
