Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across California and Southwest regions using pre-planned routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Secure cargo according to FMCSA regulations and company standards
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and hours of service compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points and client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, or preventable accidents)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems and border crossing procedures
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed trailers preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently in variable weather and traffic conditions
