Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods to designated locations within New York and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (New York state)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Ability to work independently in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for occasional overtime or schedule adjustments
