Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries across Georgia and neighboring states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Secure cargo and handle specialized freight with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to adjust routes as needed for operational demands
