Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules
- Secure and verify cargo during loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
