Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional night deliveries across Florida
- Perform pre-trip inspections, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts with precision and care
- Adapt to dynamic routes and schedules while prioritizing on-time delivery
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintain real-time GPS tracking
- Uphold strict safety protocols and secure cargo during all transit phases
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience with night shift preference
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate heavy equipment safely
- Knowledge of Florida highways and regional delivery zones
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
