Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts/pallet jacks
- Maintain detailed electronic logs and pre/post-trip inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Deliver freight to distribution centers across Northern California
- Respond proactively to weather and traffic conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current medical card and TWIC certification
- Proven expertise in flatbed/dry van operations
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
