Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours
- Transport freight across regional routes with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and pre/post-trip inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Ensure secure cargo handling and verify delivery documentation
- Respond proactively to weather and traffic conditions during night operations
- Participate in monthly safety training and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Physical ability to handle cargo loading/unloading and pre-trip inspections
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous night shift experience preferred
