Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for freight delivery and logistics operations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for streamlined cargo handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
