Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) following DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations within strict timeframes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NYC metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts as required
