Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and route planning
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across multiple states
- Maintain electronic logging system compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement procedures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to travel overnight (1-2 nights/week)
- High school diploma or equivalent
