Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Hazmat materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
