Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on various routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Interact professionally with customers and handle billing documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (CDL Class A preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
