Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) in a safe, efficient, and legal manner.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and all required documentation (DOT, HOS).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and travel as required.
