Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Complete all required daily inspections, pre-trip, and post-trip vehicle checks (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (DOT regulations) and delivery records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL (if applicable) issued by the State of Georgia.
- Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle issues.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
