Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and use of tie-downs.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) logs.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delays.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and drug-free workplace policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
