Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and legal manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload freight securely to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a professional attitude.
