Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on various roadways and highways.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated drop-off points in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and road conditions.
